you can have your cake & eat it too

having done interviews, i can't say i like being on the receiving end.  i feel like i sound absolutely crazy talking about myself and once i start, i realize i have so much to work on.  but nonetheless, i met up with an amazing guy to be featured on his website.  first, let me just say how i'm super flattered that he thought i even belonged on his website featuring up and coming artists of all genres! like really, little old me. that was pretty cool and then he came from philly to new york to really talk to me.  isn't that sweet?! and i'm not being sarcastic either.  in fact, i was more open to talking to him, more than i normally would be, because he's from philly too, i spent six years there so i'm naturally drawn to what feels familiar and besides that he went to school with my jawn @danigirlbx! so i can honestly say that he made such a weird situation feel very comfortable.  thank you baby Jesus because if not, i'm pretty sure i would have had an anxiety attack.

i wasn't going to tell you who he is until the piece came up but i actually want you to go through the website.  i looked at it for days and i love everything about it.

but um yeah, he's a great conversationalist and he has an amazing vision and i'm so glad that he asked me to be a part of it! now considering i hate pictures of myself, except the ones on my macbook, being filmed is extra weird! sometimes i forgot he was filming, but let's face, we don't all look great at every angle.  so i'm praying to whoever controls video and lighting that they spare me out of the kindness of their heart.  i don't know what he will or won't put up about our conversation but if he doesn't put up how i feel about writing, i will tell you because he seemed genuinely shocked and i'm pretty sure you will be.  anyways, get acquainted with the site and keep visiting.  i'm sure you'll see plenty of people you like and maybe you or someone you know should even be a part of it.

support one another and thanks @concrete_g!
